The Jalandhar Improvement Trust (JIT) has launched a special housing scheme for construction of 40 flats in Guru Ravidas Nagar under the Shree Ram Vatika development scheme.
Trust Chairman Tejinder Singh Bittu said the trust has invited applications under the self-financing scheme for allotment of luxurious flats.
The scheme is open from March 14 to 25 and within a fortnight of closure of the scheme, the draw to allot the flats would be held on April 6.
Bittu said the flats would have round-the-clock security, provisions for 24 hours power back-up, biometric access for each flat, video door phones, sliding main gain automation etc.
