Jaspal Rana to work for improvement of sports if elected

A day before the last phase of Lok Sabha elections, ace shooter Jaspal Rana, who is trying his luck from Tehri constituency, said he will work for the development of sports in Uttarakhand.
"If I am elected, I would work for the overall development of sports in the hill state," said Rana, who is facing a tough triangular fight against Congress candidate Vijay Bahuguna and BSP candidate Munna Singh Chauhan.
Rana also promised to introduce a metro train in Dehradun, where transport system has not taken a shape.
"It is my dream that we should also have trains running on pillars in Dehradun," said Rana.
When asked whether he would continue his sports career in case he is elected to Lok Sabha, Rana said he would try create a balance between the two fields. "For me, both the fields are important. I will try to create a balance between the two," Rana told PTI in an interview.
Rana said he would do his best to improve sports in the country as well as in Uttarakhand. The shooter said that he has already set up a shooting academy in Dehradun where scores of youngsters were being trained.
He also said that he would work to create more jobs opportunities in the hill state so that youngsters do not have to migrate in search of jobs.
