| Jeera rises on good demand |

Jeera prices rose by Rs 400 per quintal in the national capital today on good demand from retailers as well as exporters.
Following fall in supplies from producing regions and firming trend in futures market also supported the rise in prices.
Jeera common and jeera best quality surged by Rs 400 to conclude at Rs 14,200-14,500 and Rs 15,300-15,800 per quintal.
Traders said the rise in jeera prices was attributed to good demand from retailers and exporters, mainly pushed up jeera prices on the wholesale kirana market here.
