Bangalore-based Jivox,a self-service, online video advertising company, today announced that it has been named one of the "Top 10 Most Promising Companies" by SiliconIndia, India's premier professional networking portal.
Jivox, founded in 2007 introduced the industry's first self-service online video advertising platform for local businesses, was among the winners announced in the May 2009 issue of SiliconIndia Magazine, a company statement said.
Jivox was evaluated by business leaders,industry analysts, venture capitalists, and members of SiliconIndia's editorial team on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, including its differentiated service offering, management pedigree, innovation, global strategy, customers and customer retention and venture funding.
The company, headquartered in California, USA, had commenced its India operations in March 2008, through sales and development office in Bangalore and sales office in Delhi and Mumbai.
