In the first six months of this fiscal, the company's sales grew by 18 per cent. The firm expects 12 per cent growth in sales this fiscal, JSW Steel Vice Chairman and Managing Director Sajjan Jindal told reporters here.

The company, which had earlier cut production by 20 per cent, has no plans to reduce the production further, he said.

He said said that the company will review the expansion projects at Vijayanagar plant.

The company is upgrading the plant capacity from 4 mtpa to 7 mtpa by adding a production line. It will take a decision on starting commercial production from this line in December, Jindal said, adding that the plans to raise the capacity of plant further to 10 mtpa are on hold.
