The XIV additional chief metropolitan magistrate today extended the judicial custody of the accused in the Satyam financial scandal till July 8.
The judicial custody of all the accused ended today.
Satyam founder B Ramalinga Raju, his brother and former managing director B Rama Raju, former chief financial officer Srinivas Vadlamani, PriceWaterhouse auditors S Gopalakrishnan and Srinivas Talluri, Satyam vice-president G Ramakrishna, senior finance manager D Venkatapathi Raju, Satyam assistant manager C Srisailam were produced before the court today.
The magistrate reserved the orders on the plea by the CBI for administering a lie detection test on the key accused to June 30.
Meanwhile, the bail petition of the Price Waterhouse auditors, who have moved the High Court, will come up for hearing tomorrow. Their bail has been rejected seven times by the lower courts so far. Consequently, they have approached the High Court this week.
There are also indications that the counsel of the other accused would likely to move High Court shortly.
