| Judicial remand of Raju, 7 others extended till Sept 2 |

A local court here today extended the judicial remand of Satyam Computer founder B Ramalinga Raju and seven other accused till September 2 in the multi-crore rupee accounting fraud at the IT firm.
The court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate extended the judicial remand of Raju and his brother and Satyam's former MD Rama Raju and ex-CFO Vadlamani Srinivas till September 2.
The other accused, whose remand has been extended, include former auditors of Price Waterhouse S Gopalakrishnan and Talluri Srinivas.
All the accused, now lodged in the Chanchalguda jail here, were produced before the court after their remand ended today.
Another accused in the case Suryanarayana Raju, who is on anticipatory bail, also appeared before the court, a CBI counsel said.
A petition filed by the defence counsel seeking some of the original documents of the chargesheet filed by the CBI in the case will come up for hearing in the court tomorrow, the CBI counsel added.
