K7 TotalSecurity Earns the "Compatible with Windows 7" Logo

K7 TotalSecurity, an integrated product featuring Antivirus, Firewall, Privacy and Anti-spam, developed by K7 Computing, has earned the “Compatible with Windows 7” logo from Microsoft Corp. The product offers enhanced performance in detection of threats and advanced features in protection against viruses.

K7 TotalSecurity is among the first Indian security software to earn the “Compatible with Windows 7” logo. K7 TotalSecurity 9.0 and K7 AntiVirus 7.0, also developed by K7 Computing, have previously been approved by Microsoft Corp. for use with Windows Vista and Windows XP.

Speaking about this, Mr. Kesavardhanan, CEO & MD, K7 Computing, said “We at K7 Computing have always endeavoured to make the Internet a safer place for everyone. K7 TotalSecurity offers other enhanced features such as pre-installation super scanner to clean pre-infected PCs, dynamic lockdown of Windows to prevent infection during installation of the product, performs repeated scans to clean files with multiple infections, unique self protection mechanism to protect pre-installed scan files and installed K7 TotalSecurity files, registry scan which checks all start-up entry files in the registry, start-up scan which prevents malware from running automatically during boot-up.
