Kale to provide rev accounting solutions to Vietnam Airlines

IT major, Kale Consultants, today said that it would provide its new-generation passenger and cargo revenue accounting solutions to Vietnam Airlines. Kale Consultants is a global IT solutions provider to the aviation and travel industry.

The airline will deploy these solutions on a licensed basis, a press release issued here said. Kale's new-generation passenger and cargo revenue accounting solutions –- REVERA & AMBER — help airlines implement industry best practises to proactively adapt to dynamic market conditions.

The two solutions enable airlines to efficiently manage the rapidly growing and complex revenue accounting operations and achieve efficiencies in the long run, the release said.

"We evaluated many revenue accounting solutions before selecting Kale's solutions. We feel that Kale’s solutions are the best fit and would also be able to meet our long-term business requirements, improve efficiency, and lower costs,” Vietnam Airlines' Deputy Director Finance, Mai Huu Tho, said.

Vietnam Airlines is the national flag-carrier of Vietnam, based in Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam.

The airlines serves its 9-million annual passengers with 74 routes to 46 destinations including 34 domestic routes to 20 destinations. It also operates across 40 international routes to 26 cities with more than 220 daily flights.
