Karur Vysya Bank reported a 45 per cent increase in its net profit for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 to Rs 90.90 crore as compared to Rs 62.24 crore,a  year ago.

Total income rose by 25 per cent to Rs 492.09 crore from Rs 393.28 crore. Other income rose by 37 per cent to Rs 58.12 crore from Rs 42.21 crore, an increase of 37 per cent.
