| Bangalore-based Kavveri Telecom Products Limited is entering into new products related to 3G technology besides ramping up its manufacturing facilities to touch the Rs 300-crore turnover capacity, which it hopes to fully utilise from the year 2010.

| The company, which clocked Rs 50 crore sales revenues last year, is a major supplier of base station antennae to Indian mobile service providers and international telecom technology companies.

| Disclosing this here on Thursday, C Shivakumar Reddy, managing director, Kavveri Telecom, said the new plant which is currently underway at Jigani in Karnataka at an investment of Rs 15 crore would be ready by March next year and will be used for own requirements besides contract manufacturing.

| The current capacity of the three existing plants in Karnataka is about Rs 130 crore, he said. The company also proposes to shift the two Bangalore plants to Jigani to make an integrated plant with semi-automation.

| While the company’s order book stands at about Rs 100 crore for the current year, the mobile service providers' massive rollout plans starting this year would further ensure the growth of the company's business, he said.

| The company is currently installing a base station antennae for Hutch and Idea and sees 15-20 per cent revenues coming from Andhra operations.

| Along with the existing products related to GSM, CDMA, Wimax and ultra-wide band technologies, Kavveri is coming out with VMTS (vacuum metalised thermoformable structure) products required to implement 3G technology, Reddy said. |
