KEYS HOTELS, budget and mid-market hotels of Berggruen Hotels, currently operational in Thiruvananthapuram, Lonavala and Hyderabad, is looking at expanding its operations in India along with deployment of capital.

This financial year will also see three other KEYS Hotels and resorts opening at Ludhiana, Mahabaleshwar, Bangalore

Our Trivandrum hotel has had great reviews from the guests and has crossed 30 percent occupancy in first month itself. On cues of global economy recovery, we are very optimistic about the growth of KEYS HOTELS. We shall be deploying 72 mn USD (Rs 345 crores) in equity and debt in the next 18 months to fund growth

Berggruen Hotels, a venture backed by Berggruen Holdings Inc, New York launched a new brand called “Keys” in India in January 2007. The company was formed with the intent of focusing on budget and mid-market hotels, resorts and service apartments across India.
