The Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (Kinfra) has proposed to set up a solar energy park in Palakkad district under the Central Financial Assistance scheme.

The park is proposed to be located in Walayar, where Kinfra has 6 acres of land. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 22 crore excluding the cost of the land.
