Kobian Launches a family of Mercury Surveillance Cameras
The portfolio includes Infrared CCD, Dome and DSP Box Cameras

Kobian, the manufacturer for Mercury branded IT Peripherals, has forayed into Surveillance Camera market with the introduction of Standalone Surveillance Cameras ranging from Infrared CCDs to the Dome and DSP Box Cameras.

After the enthusiastic acceptance of Mercury range of Espial range of Surveillance DVR & DIY kits in the Indian market, Mercury Surveillance Cameras is expected to storm the Indian market with its quality and aggressive pricing.

On the launch of the Mercury Surveillance Cameras, Ms. Sushmita Das, Country Manager, Kobian, said, “Security is a growing concern for everyone and very soon we shall be seeing the common man employing surveillance in their homes too. The quality of the camera is the most important feature in such product and the channel should educate the consumer regarding the same. Thus at Kobian we ensure that all Mercury Cameras whether in the DIY Kits , Combo or standalone cameras are using the state of the art technology lens and sensor which shall give the optimum result to the consumer.”

The Mercury Weatherproof Infrared CCD Camera, model # 8ME-IR3 & 8ME-XB438, are Bullet colour camera powered with Sony CCD Sensor.  The inbuilt 35units & 30 units of 850nm High Power IR LED respectively makes these a perfect solution for a security requirement in the areas with minimum illumination and for night surveillance. It employs Digital Signal Processor (DSP) chipset for image control and provides high sensitivity, low smear, high anti-blooming and high S/N Ratio. The powerful IR covers a distance of 50m and has features like Auto Electronic Shutter, Auto Gain control and Auto white balance.

The Mini Dome Camera, model # 8ME-XD2C1, with a rotate able cover and high power Sony CCD Sensor is an ideal solution for security requirements at offices , schools , hospitals , etc. The DSP chipset offers a High sensitivity and high S/N Ratio. Its powered with similar in built functions as in the other Mercury IR CCD Camera. It is furnished with DC Power cable and video cable.

Mercury’s Espial Surveillance products -DVR & DIY Kits are fast gaining position in the security space. The popular DIY Kit has the Mercury Espial DVR with True Triplex Functionality which allows Playback, Record, Display and Network simultaneously. With the unique feature of remote monitoring through mobile phone and remote DVR Controlling has made the Mercury range a success within the channel.
