LiuGong India to start production in MP

LiuGong India Private Limited (LIPL), engaged in production of heavy earth moving machines and construction equipments, will start its production at Pithampur, around 35 km from here, tomorrow.

LIPL, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Guangxi Liu Gong Machinery Company Limited of China, has set up its plant in an area of 44 acres with an initial investment of Rs 175 crore at Pithampur and plans to manufacture 2000 units per year, sources close to the company management, said.     

LIPL has invested in Indore, after signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Madhya Pradesh Trade and Investment Facilitation Corporation.     

LIPL is the first Chinese company to invest in Madhya Pradesh.
