Bangalore-based Logix Microsystems has launched an interactive car portal, Carazoo.com, which will cater to the requirements of car buyers/sellers, car manufacturers, dealers, financiers, insurance providers and car accessory suppliers. The Rs 33 crore company has invested around Rs 6 crore on the portal, post the success of their San Francisco-based Izmocars venture.
Sanjay Soni, MD, Logix Microsystems, said "Izmocars provides web solutions to over a thousand automotive manufacturers and dealers in the US including GM, Ford and Mitsubishi Motors. Carazoo will enable buyers to seek individual car prices, technical specifications, tools to compare different cars, reviews, finance and insurance tips. Customers can also find out dealer quotes for a particular car, or request for a test drive."
According to Soni, the site currently offers information on cars of 17 makes, in 77 models and 300 variants. Second-hand cars can also be purchased. Logix has currently tied up with 38 dealers in South India and 12 in West and will soon add more in the NCR region.
