The partnership expands upon L&T Infotech's Business-to-IT Connect that provides cutting-edge solutions and services to clients across multiple continents. Savvion Business Process Management Systems (BPMS) enable organisations to operate more competitively and cost-efficiently.

With Savvion BPM, organisations are able to become more efficient, gain better visibility into their operations and more agility to respond to changing business conditions quickly, the release said.

BPM is a management approach focused on aligning all aspects of an organisation with the needs and wants of clients. It is a holistic management approach that promotes business efficiency and effectiveness while striving for innovation, flexibility, and integration with technology.

BPM attempts to improve processes continuously and enables organisations to be more efficient, more effective and more capable of change than a functionally-focused, traditional hierarchical management approach.

L&T Infotech's CEO, Sudip Banerjee sais, "This partnership is in line with our constant endeavour to provide added value to our clients. Our offerings on BPM platform such as Savvion gives our clients the IT agility needed to keep pace with rapid business change."

L&T Infotech is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro.
