Women’s brand Madame plans to open 46 exclusive brand outlets across the country to take the total number to 100 by 2010.
The company has earmarked Rs 23 crore for the purpose.
“The opening of new stores will help us achieve our objective. In the near future, one will see more Madame stores in high potential towns in the country. Our plan is to open 200 exclusive stores by the year 2012, which will be a mix of company-owned and franchisee-owned,” said Bipin Jain, managing director.
The company on Tuesday launched its new store in Ghumar Mandi, Ludhiana. With this, it now has 54 exclusive outlets spread across strategic locations, a company release said.
