IT firm Mahindra Satyam today said it has appointed Gaurav Gupta as Associate Vice President for Strategic Partnership in Europe.

Gaurav would lead development of customised partnership arrangement in the sectors of aerospace and defence, Mahindra Satyam (earlier known as Satyam Computer Services) said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

"Gaurav brings a breadth of experience which will be invaluable as we look to strengthen our foothold in the aerospace and defence market," Mahindra Satyam Head-Europe Vikram Nair said.

Earlier this month, the company had expanded its sales team in Malaysia by appointing Azlan Othman and Rasedi Mohamad as senior sales manager.

These appointments highlighted the company's drive to accelerate growth in key industries and solutions segments in Malaysia.
