The Sensex has continued to slip and have touched a low of 16,275. The index is now up 115 points at 16,299.
The Nifty is up 35 points at 4,849.

Markets have slipped and are now near the day's low. The Sensex is up 125 points at 16,309.
The Nifty has slipped as well and is now at 4,851 - up 37 points.
ICICI Bank has surged 4% to Rs 823. Tata Motors has gained 3.5% at Rs 577.
Sterlite has added 2.5% to Rs 767. Bharti Airtel, BHEL, Reliance Communications have advanced 1.5% each to Rs 417, Rs 2,273 and Rs 304, respectively.
Infosys, Tata Steel and Hindalco have moved up over 1% each.
However, Hero Honda has slipped 1.5% to Rs 1,603. Jaiprakash Associates has dropped 1% to Rs 236.
The market breadth continues to be positive. Out of 2,634 shares traded 1,413 have advanced while 1,130 have declined.
