| Markets move in tight range |

The markets continue to exhibit lacklustre movement for yet another day. The Sensex after opened at 17,981, has moved in an extremely narrrow range of 68-odd points. The index is now down 36 points at 17,956.
The NSE Nifty is down 13 points at 5396.
Hero Honda and ONGC are exihibited weakness post results today. Hero Honda has shed 2.5% to Rs 1,823, and ONGC has slipped over 1% to Rs 1,228.
Tata Motors has dropped 1.6% to Rs 852. Wipro, ITC, Sterlite and Bharti Airtel are the other prominent losers.
SBI and Mahindra & Mahindra have gained around 1.5% each at Rs 2,514 and Rs 654, respectively.
Tata Steel has advanced over 1% to Rs 540.
The market breadth is extremely positive - out of 2,657 stocks traded so far, 1,608 have advanced and 962 have declined.
