| Markets slip after brief recovery |

Markets have slipped after a brief recovery. The Sensex is now don 35 at 14,977.
The Nifty is at 4,448 - down six points.
Sun Pharma continues to be the biggest loser and is now down 1.5% at Rs 1,170. HDFC Bank and ITC have dropped 1.3% each to Rs 1,460.
Reliance Infrastructure, Hindustan Unilver, Tata Steel, Larsen & Toubro, Reliance Communications and Hindalco have slipped over 1% each.
Ranbaxy has shed 1.7% to Rs 1,169. Cipla is down 1.5% at Rs 254.
However, Hero Honda has added 2% to Rs 1,439. TCS and ACC are up 1% each at Rs 506 and Rs 765, respectively.
HCL Technologies has surged 4% to Rs 266. ABB, Gail India, Idea Cellular and Siemens have advanced 1-2% each.
The market breadth is positive. Out of 2,400 stocks traded 1,370 have advanced while 931 have declined.
