Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is not the Congress party’s favourite politician, but he has taught the party a thing or two about campaigning. The Congress heir-presumptive, Rahul Gandhi, has taken a leaf out of Modi’s campaign book. Since Rahul cannot travel to all parts of the country to campaign for the party, his fans and Youth Congress workers have decided they will wear Rahul masks and bring out precessions in those areas where the young scion cannot come. Samrat Tapadar, a Youth Congress leader in West Bengal, says, “Wearing masks of Rahul, we will march in different parts of the state and spread the message of development.”
