When launched, this will be the company's third product after Max Secure Anti Virus Retail Edition and Max Secure Anti Virus Enterprise Edition which were launched recently in the state.

"We have launched the enterprise edition for our Max Secure Anti Virus product. By next month, we intend to launch an internet security product. Max Secure Enterprise Edition was developed keeping in mind the requirements of the enterprises, with an eye on productivity, integrity and confidentiality of data in systems and networks.

Available at Rs 650 per user, the Anti Virus Enterprise Edition is based on the client-server architecture to detect and delete viruses and spyware across a network while putting control in the hands of IT administrators and not end-users.

"It is easy to use and implement and supports domain-based and IP-based networks. Client service can be pushed on the client PC from the admin console (server) at a single mouse click. It minimises the installation headaches of the administrators and saving the time of both the client and admin," said Pradhan.

The Enterprise edition is powered with the Max Secure Software's Smart Scan technology to speed the detection of threats making it the fastest scanning anti-virus technology in the world. It scans the network client desktops with a comprehensive database of more than 7,50,000 virus threats and utilizes minimum CPU thus scanning the client without disturbing other activities, apart from utilising negligible network bandwidth as the scanning is done locally on the client machines.

The other facilities include high scanning speed with detailed threat analysis, advanced technology to detect and delete special viruses, frequent database updates.
