MCHI announces property 2010

Twin shows to be held at Kandivali and Ghatkopar

In order to reach out to home buyers, the segment which is at present driving the real estate market, the Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (MCHI), the most reputed body of real estate developers in the country, today announced ‘Property 2010 - Twin Show,’ an exhibition on lifestyle and affordable housing to be held simultaneously at Ghatkopar and Kandivali focusing on Central and Western Suburbs respectively from February 5 to 7, 2010.

As many as 40 real estate developers & about 7 – 8 Banks & HFIs would be showcasing lifestyle and affordable properties located within the area in Western Suburbs stretching from Bandra to Dahisar, and in Mira Road, Virar, Dahanu and beyond and in the Central Suburbs, properties from Sion to Mulund and Thane, Kalyan, Dombivali, Navi Mumbai, Panvel and beyond will also be showcased. The shows will be held at the Raghuleela Mall in Kandivali West and R City Mall, L. B. S. Marg at Ghatkopar West respectively.

“Property 2010 Twin Shows is one of the most successful experiments of the MCHI to reach out to genuine buyers started last year,” said Mr. Pravin Doshi, President, MCHI. “Housing prices have come down to affordable levels in various parts of the western and central suburbs and these exhibitions will be the best opportunity for buyers as well as sellers.”

“MCHI’s ‘Property 2010,’ ‘Twin Shows’ is a revolutionary concept in itself,” said Mr. Harish Patel, Convenor, Exhibition Committee, MCHI. “These twin property shows happening simultaneously will bring a genuine buyer’s dream home to his doorstep. Going by last year’s encouraging response to these shows, we are sure that the forthcoming property exhibitions will create record foot-falls as there has been a continuous demand for affordable housing in various locations of both western and central suburbs,” added Mr. Deepak Goradia, Co-Convenor, Exhibition Committee, MCHI.
