Meru Cabs appoints Mr. Rajesh Puri as its CEO

Meru Cabs, India’s favorite and largest radio cab service provider, today announced that Mr. Rajesh Puri has been appointed as the CEO of the company. In this capacity, Mr. Puri will be responsible for driving the company’s strategy, expanding existing businesses and seeking out new business opportunities. Mr. Puri will be based out of Mumbai.

His immediate assignment prior to joining Meru Cab Company was as the President (Operations) at Tata Teleservices (TTML). Over the last 22 years, Mr. Puri has worked with some of the finest blue-chip companies in India including, Airtel, Electrolux, Whirlpool, Godrej Boyce and ONGC. His experience has been in leading start-up businesses to unassailable leadership.

Commenting on the appointment of Mr Puri, Mr Neeraj Gupta, Managing Director, Meru Cab Company said, “Taking into account Mr Puri’s prior experience and his stint with various blue chip firms, his wealth of knowledge will enhance the current business of the company.”
