| KJ Choi, who played impressive golf while finishing third in the Masters has signed up for next month’s BMW Asian Open when the Europe Tour heads into China for the first time ever.

| He will be among the marquee names alongside stars like Ireland’s world No 8, Padraig Harrington, Germany’s Alex Cekja and Australia’s Greg Norman. The event is co-sanctioned between the China Golf Association and European Tour and will be held at the Tomson Shanghai Pudong Golf Club in the third week of May. The event carries a prize fund of $1.5 million making it the richest tournament ever on the Chinese mainland.

On the weekend Phil Mickelson was winning a thrilling Masters, Shaw posted a rare, three consecutive eagles at his home course, Fort Mill Golf Club in North Carolina. He pulled off an amazing effort, which included a hole in one.
