| The share price of Kajaria Ceramics rose from Rs 57.40 on December 1, to yesterday's close of Rs 72, up 25.43 per cent on the Bombay Stock exchange (BSE).

| During the same period the stock price of Orient Ceramics increased from Rs 24.35 to Rs 27.80 up 14.61 per cent and Hindustan Sanitaryware gained from Rs 68 to Rs 99, up 45.58 per cent.

| The stocks of Regency Ceramics decreased from Rs 40.55 to Rs 39.90, down 1.60 per cent and Bell Ceramics moved from Rs 10.01 to Rs 9.80, down 2.09 per cent.

| Anand Raj Industries fell from Rs 5.17 to Rs 3.54, down 46.04 per cent, and Hitkari China depreciated as well from Rs 2.85 to Rs 2.78, a minor drop of 2.45 per cent.

| The share price of SPL rose modestly from Rs 31.50 to 32.40, up 2.85 per cent, and Pokarna rose from Rs 74.90 to Rs 83.50, a rise of 11.48 per cent. Murudeshwar Ceramics witnessed a minor fall from Rs 28.40 to Rs 26. |
