Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services posted 90% surge in its advance tax payment this quarter at Rs 80 crore, against Rs 42 crore it paid in the year-ago period.
The stock opened at Rs 312, soared to a high of Rs 317.
The scrip is now trading at Rs 314, up 1% from its previous close. The counter has clocked volumes of 4,732 shares as compared to the two week daily average traded volumes of 34,675 shares on the BSE. The stock has zoomed 16% in a month's time.
