| Mobizone plans to open 30 outlets in India |

Aiming to capture the unorganised market for mobile phone repairs, Noida-based Pacetel Communications today opened its first multi-brand mobile phone outlet 'Mobizone' here and announced that it would open 30 more such stores within this fiscal across the country.
"We have plans to open 30 'Mobizone' across the country this year with a view to have stronghold in mobile phone repairs market which is predominantly held by unorganised sector," company's CFO Jyoti Raman told reporters here today.
This year, the company hopes to open such stores in Delhi, Jaipur, Indore, Kolkata, Chennai, Lucknow, Patna, Bhiwani, Nagpur, Pune, Ranchi, Agra etc, he said.
Mobizone has already tied up with leading mobile handset companies such as Nokia, Tata, Idea, Samsung, LG, Fly and Reliance for providing repairs service to their handsets.
Company's Service Vertical Head Digvijay Pandey said, "Presently, close to one million handsets per annum across the country come for repairs. Out of which, 80 per cent repairs is done by unorganised segment...Which offers a huge potential for companies like us to cash in on this segment," he said.
Besides, the multi-brand outlet would also sell mobile phones, accessories, recharge coupons and exchange facility.
