The Dow Jones industrial average gained 14 points to 9,882. The Nasdaq Composite Index declined 26 points or 1.20% to 2,116.09 The Indian ADRs ended on a negative note. ICICI Bank was the major loser, plunged 8% to $34.22.
Sterlite dropped 7% to $16.10 and Tata Communications slipped 4.5% to $19.09, respectively.
Tata Motors, Infosys and HDFC Bank were down 2% each.
Genpact on the other hand was up 1.5% at $11.76.
