NCMSL testing lab rated as amongst the best in the world

The central laboratory of National Collateral Management Services Limited (NCMSL) operating under the brand name of ‘CommGrade’ has been awarded the excellent ‘Z Score’ by the Food & Environment Research Agency of UK. The testing conducted under the Food Analysis Performance Assessment Scheme (FAPAS) brings the lab on par with the best test laboratories of the world.

National Collateral Management Services Ltd (NCMSL) is the country’s leading player in warehousing services, supply chain management solutions and testing & certification. It provides collateral risk management for lenders as well as risk management of physical deliveries for commodity exchanges.

The tests were conducted as per the international guidelines for proficiency testing. The sample maize (corn) was analysed for the presence of  human carcinogenic mycotoxins viz., Aflatoxins B1, B2, G1 and G2. The test results provided by NCMSL-CommGrade were one of  the best amongst the 77 participants from across 31 countries.

NCMSL-CommGrade has been operating since 2005 applying the best testing technologies, continuously improving quality management systems and processes by complying with the applicable international standards.

FAPAS is part of The Food and Environment Research Agency, an executive agency of the UK Government Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra). FAPAS scheme is internationally recognised and have been at the forefront of international proficiency testing services since 1990.
