State-run NTPC today said it has floated a tender for sourcing 2.5 mmscmd of liquefied natural gas for firing its power projects.     

"We have floated the tender for 2.5 mmscmd of RLNG (regassified liqueified natural gas)," company Chairman and Managing Director R S Sharma told reporters here.
