Ocimum Biosolutions, a life sciences contract R&D company in the area of genomics, announced the launch of a microarray analysis tool, Genowiz.
Microarray technology, with its ability to provide global views of genome sequence and gene activity, results in vast amounts of gene expression data to be analyzed and managed. Genowiz will cater to this need of the scientists and researchers actively using microarrays in their experiments.
Genowiz is designed to analyse and visualise large-scale data sets generated by high through put gene expression experiments. “Genowiz has addressed issues that scientists face while dealing with microarray data in a structured manner and also gives the researchers an edge as it is seamlessly integrated with the pathway editor. This will ensure that we can go a level ahead in our quest for better drugs, diagnostics and microarray research,” said Anuradha Acharya, the CEO of Ocimum Biosolutions, in a release.
