Realty developer Omaxe today reported a  91 per cent dip in its consolidated net profit for the financial year ended March 31, 2009, to Rs 41.31 crore.

The company had a consolidated net profit of Rs 494.87 crore during the 2007-08 fiscal, Omaxe said in a filing to the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

On a standalone basis, Omaxe posted a net profit of Rs 78.11 crore during the 2008-09 fiscal, down 80 per cent compared to Rs 398.80 crore in the previous year.

The standalone net sales of the company dropped to Rs 699.77 crore during the FY09 from Rs 1,789.49 crore of FY08.

Shares of Omaxe today closed at Rs 99.40, down nearly 5 per cent on the NSE.
