Omaxe, Moser Baer & Eicher Motors Q2 results

Omaxe bucks trend, net up 10.45 per cent

Delhi-based real estate player Omaxe Limited registered a net profit of Rs 22.51 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 10.45 per cent up from Rs 20.38-crore profit reported during the same period in the previous year.

Most other real estate companies have reported a sharp drop in profits and income, but Omaxe said that it managed to buck the trend due to new launches in the quarter.

Moser Baer sees Rs 48-crore loss

Falling rupee and rising commodity prices led to global technology company Moser Baer post a loss of Rs 48.54 crore (on a standalone basis) for the second quarter ended September 30, 2009.

The company’s loss stood at Rs 41.84 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago. The company doesn’t provide consolidated figures.

Eicher Motors profit at Rs 27.40 crore

Eicher Motors reported a profit of Rs 27.40 crore for the third quarter ended September 30, 2009. In the year-ago period, the company had a profit of Rs 42.91 crore, Eicher Motors said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Total income from operations stood at Rs 859.27 crore in the quarter under review, while in the year-ago period it was 494.85 crore.
