Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee is burning more than just the midnight oil when it comes to preparing her budget. She has been meeting Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee regularly, on both the Railway budget as well as on issues concerning West Bengal. After leaving Mukherjee’s residence at 12.30 am the other day, she told his assistants, “I will be awake till 4 am. Don’t hesitate to call me in case of any need.”
