India’s patent laws allow the patent examiners to delay or reject patent applications if they are “satisfied” that the application or any specifications or attached documents do not comply with the requirements of the Patents Act or Patent Rules. Speaking at an Intellectual Property Owners forum in Delhi, Patent Controller P H Kurian said several of the early delays in clearing patent applications were on account of the patent examiners mistaking the word for “personal satisfaction”; they did not realise that it only meant compliance of stipulated regulations.
The guy has only intention is to defame the officers who stood strongly to protect the sanctity of law.But sadly some media is also projecting this IAS officer who has minimum respect for the countrys law.
He is making drama now taking advantage of his position.
