With dreams in eyes, hopes in heart and a bit of nervousness in minds, the 2011-2015 batch of Pearl Academy of Fashion attended the Orientation Program at the campus. The program intended to create a platform for the students to introduce them to some guidelines on industry trends and future prospects.
In an environment where competition creates a demand for effective leadership, Pearl Academy of Fashion prepares professionals who are able to combine industry exposure and self learning. The strong alumni body of the institute shows quality industry exposure. Frequent visits from the celebrated designers, global faculty members and continuous interaction from people from the lifestyle industry give the students a hands-on experience throughout their curriculum. The tenure spent at Pearl Academy of Fashion makes the students highly competitive, learned and innovative.
The new batch got the chance to familiarize themselves with the leading fashion and design institute in India, its policies, curricula and study plans.
Dr AKG Nair, Group Director, Pearl Academy of Fashion welcomed the students and provided insights on creativity and the dedication needed to make a mark in this field. His speech was followed by Dr Shanbhag, Academic Advisor, Pearl Academy of Fashion, who gave tremendous courage and a novel guidance to the freshers. Mr. Neel Broker, CEO, promptly guided through the challenging and demanding work culture of the industry.
The new batch, on the inaugural day, was addressed by distinguished industry professional, Mr. Rajesh Rai, HR Director, Benetton, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
