Rushikesh Bandekar, vice president and head of technology products, IL&FS Education said, " With Exploriments, we offer a unique pedagogy to the mobile platform providing an easily accessible, intuitive teaching and learning environment. Persistent Systems' expertise in building next generation mobile based solutions makes it an ideal partner to develop Exploriments for the upcoming mobile/tablet based platforms."

Exploriments, designed primarily for tablets such as iPads, will also be compatible with various other devices such as handheld PCs and net books. Leveraging the Android and iOS Centers of Excellence (CoE), Persistent will help build many such Exploriments that work on multiple devices of different form factors.
