Petron Engineering Construction today said it has bagged a Rs 100.23 crore order from HPCL-Mittal Energy for its Bathinda refinery.     

The company has received an order for heater works in HPCL-Mittal Energy Ltd's Guru Gobind Singh Refinery Project at Bathinda in Punjab, Petron said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.     

Last year India-born billionaire Lakshmi N Mittal had picked up 49 per cent stake in Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd's (HPCL) Bathinda refinery for an investment of Rs 3,200 crore.

The HPCL's greenfield refinery at Bhatinda is set for commissioning by early 2012.      

HPCL-Mittal combine would lay a 1,100-km crude oil pipeline from Mundra port in Gujarat to Bhatinda and build a crude oil terminal and associated facilities at an estimated cost of $600 million.     

Shares of Petron closed at Rs 256.50, up 6.34 per cent on the BSE.
