Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Healthcare has soared 5% on reporting an over two-fold leap in net profit.
The stock opened at Rs 1,050 and zoomed to a high of Rs 1,100. The scrip is now trading at Rs 1,069, up 5% from the previous close. The counter has seen trades of 2,443 shares as compared to the two-week daily average traded volumes of 1,025 shares. The stock has surged 8% in a week's time.
The company has registered an over over two-fold jump in its net profit to Rs 47.77 crore in the fourth quarter ended June 30,2009 and would also pay an over 200% dividend.
