Filmstar-turned-Trinamool MP Tapas Pal appears to have decided to choose politically correct films. During the election, his party’s catch line was Maa-Maati-Maanush (mother-land-people) to express its concern against the atrocities committed by the CPI(M) while taking away land from people. The first movie Pal has signed after winning the elections is called Mati o Manush (land and people). Pal will be playing a role of a journalist who is trying to expose and eliminate corruption.
