V Narayanasamy might have bagged plum portfolios during the last Cabinet reshuffle but the jovial Tamilian continues to be at the receiving end of his colleagues’ wits. Recently, Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh and Narayanasamy came out of Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee’s office after a long meeting. When reporters asked Ramesh if there were any new pollution issues, the witty minister quickly pointed out at Narayanasamy and said, “Look at him. He is the biggest polluting agent in India.” Narayanasamy was good natured enough to join in the laughter.
