The scrip soared to a high of Rs 103 and finally ended at Rs 102, up 6% from the previous close. The counter clocked trades of 2 million shares as against the two-week daily average traded volumes of 661,751 on the BSE.

Praj Industries has opened up nearly 2% on stellar September quarter numbers. The stock is quoting at Rs 98, up 1.9%, on the BSE.

The company reported a 31.26% rise in net profit to Rs 39.60 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2009, compared to Rs 30.17 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.
