Radio Mirchi, a popular private radio network owned by Entertainment Network (I) Limited (ENIL), today said it had a reach of 48.25 lakh audience spread over 32 cities as per the Radio Audience Measurement (RAM).
"Ours is the biggest media vehicle, highest listenership and during all hours ... Radio Mirchi is considered the leader of the private FM radio industry," Radio Mirchi station director and cluster head East of Entertainment Network (I) Ltd Prashant Chacko claimed here.
Programmes like 'Coffee House Class', kicked off very recently, had become popular creating a sense of nostalgia, he said, adding emphasis was now on seasonal programmes like 'monsoon as of now'.
"Ours is a channel for the youth of the cities as per the RAM," Chacko said.
ENIL launched its first radio station in Indore in 2001 and in Kolkata in 2003, besides being operational in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Pune, Patna and Jalandhar. |
