The Sensex has slipped into the negative zone and is now down two points at 12,171.
Reliance, HDFC, Satyam and Bajaj Auto have advanced 1% each to Rs 1,177, Rs 1,407, Rs 836 and Rs 2,895, respectively.
Bharti Airtel and ITC have slipped 1% each to Rs 469 and Rs 183, respectively.
Out of 2,419 stocks traded so far, 1,314 have advanced, 1,014 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
