RDB Group buys 40% stake in Pyramid Saimira

In a glittering function, Pyramid Saimira Group announced its strategic partnership with RDB Group for the group’s Production Company Venture PSPIL.

Pyramid Saimira Group is one of the leading Multi National Entertainment Group present in Six Countries and having Twelve Verticals which included the entire gamete of entertainment industry. Pyramid Saimira Group has so far produced more than Thirteen Films, Distributed around 190 Films and had a presence of over 50,000 seating capacity per show in Exhibition.

During the past one year, the Group has scaled down and consolidated its business operations. As a part of its restructuring exercise, the Group has decided to focus on its constituent parts sector wise. The Pyramid Saimira Group comprises of :

  • Pyramid Saimira Productions International Ltd., (PSPIL) Film Production
  • Pyramid Saimira Entertainment Ltd., Singapore(PSEL) Distribution - International.
  • Pyramid Saimira Content Distribution Pvt. Ltd., India (PSCDPL) Distribution - India
  • Dimples Cine Advertising Pvt. Ltd - Marketing
  • Pyramid Saimira Entertainment America Inc., USA (PSEA) Exhibition, Distribution, Radio, Banquette Halls.
  • Pyramid Saimira Theatre Chain (M) Sdn Bhd.- Holistic
  • Pyramid and Longzhe Culture and Theatre Ltd., China - Holistic

As a part of its restructuring exercise, Pyramid Saimira Group today announced its strategic alliance with RDB Group who was the major infrastructure players in Eastern and Western India. With this strategic alliance and with combined expertise, PSPIL plans to produce 28 films and 1785 hours of TV content for the fiscal year 2010 - 2011.
