Reliance Big TV customers can get live in-stadia experience on interactive cricket

Reliance BIG TV, the DTH service of Reliance ADA Group announces the launch of iCricket interactive service. Through this interactive platform, Reliance BIG TV will offer in-stadia live experience of the ICC World T20 matches within the comforts of the customers’ own homes. BIG TV has tied up with ESPN to offer the ICC World T20 matches on BIG TV’s iCricket interactive platform.

BIG TV’s iCricket service will also offer match highlights on-demand with Multi-view options enabling viewer to switch between Live and extra camera or the Highlights Feed. The iCricket service offers multi-lingual audio options enabling viewer to switch the language of commentary. Currently, BIG TV will offer a choice of four Indian languages including English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Additionally, BIG TV will also offer a BIG Camera access enabling viewers to view the match with exclusive camera angles for an enhanced viewing experience. In order to ensure viewers do not miss out on the golden moments of the matches, BIG TV will offer a rolling highlight of all 6’s, 4’s and wickets at the click of a button. Viewers can also get in-depth information on players as well as their past records along with an update on scores and scorecards of the playing teams.

Commenting on the new initiatives launched especially for the cricket season, Sanjay Behl, CEO, Reliance BIG TV said, “It is our constant endeavour to achieve Customer Delight with enhanced services and initiatives ensuring an unmatched television viewing experience for our subscribers. To deliver an uninterrupted cricket viewing experience to its subscribers, BIG TV has introduced an Express Service at the customer’s doorstep during the T20 World Cup across 500 towns towns and cities in addition to 24 X 7 customer care helpline. This will ensure a 2-hour service turn-around time (even at midnight) should any subscriber have a problem at any time during the match.
