The rupee appreciated by 20 paise to 46.10 a dollar in the early trade today in line with other firming Asian currencies.

At the Interbank Foreign Exchange (Forex) market, the rupee appreciated by 20 paise to 46.10 a dollar. The domestic currency had closed 2 paise lower at 46.30/31 in the previous session on Friday.
